WBRU’s Live Session Room


From 2021-2022, I founded WBRU’s new live sesion room and series. Here‘s a short documentary on the process. 



Identifying the need for a space to record local and national artists (Tiny Desk Style), I put together a team* of like-minded individuals to build our own space, a project which ended up taking over a year.

Working almost entirely from scrap, we covered the two walls in soundproof foam, bought, cut, and painted the wood, glued/nailed to to the wall, and decorated the space. 

It is now being used for its intended function, which is to record musical artists in Providence, RI.
